Rentals are charged on a 24-hour period. We allow a 1-hour grace period. An additional day rate will be applied if returned beyond the 1-hour grace period.
We DO NOT do one (1) day rentals on the weekend.
Weekend rentals start on Saturday morning to Monday morning or Friday through to Monday morning.
A credit card is MANDATORY to rent a vehicle.

The credit card MUST be in the name of the renter. This is used for a security deposit.

ALL rentals require a security deposit through a major credit card. (see policy for more details)
We accept all major credit cards and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX
No. Only a credit card number is required to keep on file when booking a reservation.
We require a copy of your home driver’s license or an International Driver’s Permit if the license is in another language other than English.

A Passport must be accompanied with the above documents.

We DO NOT permit pets in any vehicle. Please be sure to return your vehicle free of any pet hair and without any damages. This will avoid additional cleaning fees or pet damages.
We cannot guarantee a specific make/model of a non-luxury vehicle.

We do guarantee Luxury and Exotic vehicles based on availability.

Please make proper arrangements with the rental office if you plan on returning the vehicle during closed hours. You are still responsible for the vehicle until Affinity physically checks the car.

Exotic and Classic vehicles cannot be returned after hours. No exceptions.

A 48-hour notice is required before any cancellation fees are applied.

No cancellation fee will be applied if the reservation is cancelled in advanced.

The minimum age to rent is 21 depending on the type of rental.

A Young Driver Surcharge fee may apply if you are between 21 – 24 of $20.00.

Your own personal automobile insurance is required.

Renters between 21 – 24 may be restricted to rent specific vehicles.

You must be a minimum age of 25 to rent any exotic and luxury vehicles.

Please call the rental office to extend your booking. This is subject to the availability of the vehicle and will change your rental rate.
Yes, parking spots are available. Please advise the rental location if you wish to park your car.
Additional drivers can ONLY be added at time of rental, not during the rental.

Additional driver fees will apply based on age and vehicle being rented.

At the Scene:

a) Stop immediately, clear of traffic if possible.
b) Turn off ignition.
c) Leave lights and emergency signals on if practical and safe.
d) Establish driver of other vehicle immediately.
e) Ensure no injuries.
f) If there is an injury call police immediately.

Collect the Following Information:

a) Time of accident
b) Visibility
c) Weather
d) Road conditions
e) Amount of traffic
f) Speed limit
g) Average speed of traffic
h) Estimated speed of your car
i) Estimated speed of other car
j) Number of persons in other car (adults, children, and pets)
k) Date (month, day, year)

Information Regarding Other Vehicle:

a) Year/Make/Model
b) License plate

Once you have filled your Report with the Police you will be required to File a Report with the Car Rental Company within 24 hours of the occurrence in order to NOT violate the Rental Agreement.

We DO NOT offer unlimited kilometers. Pre-paid mileage packages are available.

All vehicles have a pre-designated amount of mileage assigned. The amount varies for specific vehicles.

Additional kilometers will apply for any excess kilometers driven. (Prices vary per vehicle).

We offer FREE pick up and drop off in the local area of the rental office.
Ontario does not mandate winter tires on vehicles. Therefore, our fleet is equipped with all-season tires.

Some vehicles are equipped with winter tires for an additional fee. Please call the rental office for more information.

Snow brushes and windshield washer de-icer fluid is provided.

Call the rental office to advise of a cancellation or changes.
Only authorized drivers listed on the rental contract can drive the vehicle, and must be present at the time of the rental to sign.
No. However, certain rates and vehicles may not be available if not booked in advance.
Weekly rentals are available for a duration of 7 days.
Affinity is not responsible for any items held behind in vehicles. Please check the vehicle upon return.

If an item that was left behind was found, Affinity will hold onto it for one week (7 days) and one courtesy call will be made to the primary renter.

Yes. Any parking tickets or traffic violations incurred are the responsibility of the renter.
Gift Certificates can be purchased directly online. The link can be found under the Contact Us tab.

Gift Certificates can also be purchased over the phone by calling into any of our rental locations.

Please call the rental office which you rented from and provide an e-mail address to forward a copy of the receipt to.

Not all cars have navigation systems. A GPS unit can be rented at $14.99/day.
Child seats are available for rent. A fee of $10.00/day will be applied.
Affinity does not allow towing or attaching a hitch to any rental.
No. Please contact your own personal insurance provider to confirm if you have rental coverage for accidents, damages and liability to a rental vehicle.

Optional insurance coverages are available if you DO NOT have rental coverage or own insurance.

This waiver reduces the renter’s financially responsibility to a minimum amount for any loss or damages to the vehicle.

Cost of the LDW varies.

Yes. We will need to verify that you have rental coverage on your policy that will cover the MSRP value of the vehicle you are renting.
While coverage for non-owned autos varies by province, in most cases the coverage is determined by the value of the rental vehicle, this NOT the case for BC residents, your coverage is determined by the DAILY rate of the rental vehicle. Coverage limits can be found on Page 16-20 of the ICBC Autoplan Insurance brochure (link below).

Roadstar & Roadside Plus coverage is outline below. COPY of your policy will need to be supplied as proof of coverage at time of rental indicating the policy holder purchased the coverage as an added benefit under policy (Approx. $30.00-50.00/a year
